jPCA code package for MATLAB (.zip)

This is the code used in Churchland et al. (2012) Structure of neural population dynamics during reaching. This code was written with John Cunningham. The code is used to determine when a population response contains a large contribution from oscillatory dynamics. Please begin by working through some of the examples in ‘NOTES.’

Variance toolbox for MATLAB (.zip)

This is the code used in Churchland et al. (2010) Stimulus onset quenches neural variability: a widespread cortical phenomenon. This code uses the Fano factor to assess neural variability as a function of time. Please begin by working through some of the examples in ‘Tutorial.’
